Air Movie Review: The Pursuit of Michael Jordan and the Magic of Call of Dragons

Are you ready for a wild ride into the world of shoe sales and basketball? Then buckle up, baby, because “Air” is the movie for you! Starring Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Chris Tucker, Jason Bateman, and Viola Davis, this flick tells the story of how Nike pursued Michael Jordan to become the greatest athlete in basketball history.

I know most of you already know how this story ends, but for that one person who doesn’t, brace yourself for some spoilers! So, for the rest of us, we all know that Nike wins and Air Jordan becomes the most popular shoe of all time. But, the beauty of this movie is not the outcome we all knew, but the pursuit.

Watching Matt Damon’s character, Sunny, try to convince Michael Jordan that Nike is where he should be is pure entertainment. In 1984, Nike was not the most popular shoe company on the planet. Companies like Adidas and Converse were doing much better, and Jordan didn’t want anything to do with Nike. But, as Sunny watches game footage of Jordan in college, he realizes how comfortable and relaxed Jordan is. He also figures out that Jordan’s team was going to give him the ball for that final shot because they knew they could rely on him. This one simple bit of knowledge tells Sunny that Jordan is poised to become a superstar, and he was right.

Sunny tries desperately to make this deal happen, even visiting Jordan’s parents himself. This character’s dogged pursuit and relentless drive to get what he wants, even at the risk of losing his job, is truly inspiring. He’s not doing it out of greed, but because he truly believes it’s the right thing to do. And, as we all know, this deal not only made a lot of money but also did a lot for charity.

The dialogue in this movie is so good, it feels very off-the-cuff and natural. I don’t know if Affleck, Bateman, Davis, and Damon were all just riffing in and out of character, but it sure seems like it. The chemistry between the actors is fantastic, and they all bring something unique to the table.

In conclusion, “Air” is a movie worth watching, even if you already know the outcome. The pursuit is what makes this story so great, and the acting is superb. Plus, if you’re like me and don’t have a lot of time to play video games, “Call of Dragons” is the perfect game to play on the go. So, what are you waiting for? Download the game and watch “Air” today!
